You give us your transcripts, blog posts, articles etc. and we organize it all and propose a book outline. You approve outline, and we create the first draft of your book using your content.
You take it from there, either with our help, or on your own.
How It Works
Our Work Flow Minimizes Your Time Investment, and Maximizes Data That Informs Your Results.
First a conversation with Marilyn to help define your chosen goal. If you have a head start, bring your thoughts so far to the conversation. If we agree to go ahead, you pay 50% of the cost up front.
Data gathering: Either an interview with Marilyn where you describe your work and your ideas, and/or you provide transcripts, articles, presentations etc. you've written that contain your thought leadership concepts. You submit from 1 to about 30 documents. We extract your brand voice as well as content so we can write your book in your style.
Initial outline: We provide our initial ideas, and we have a conversation with you to expand or edit our initial assumptions. (plan 1 week)
We develop the final deliverable and schedule a conversation with you to provide the document promised. (plan 3 weeks)
You pay the final 50% and we deliver the document promised. We aim to complete your book first draft within one month (not guaranteed, but we get as close as we can). We review the final deliverable and you have the opportunity to make one round of edits. Remember we're only promising to provide you with a first draft ... we're expecting this to be a foundational document that helps you further develop into the final product you're proud to publish and use.
We deliver the final edited document (if there are edits) and invite you to a next step to help you maximize the value of your new asset.
